帝釈天王安置の碑 | Enshrinement monument of Taishakutenou (Sakra)

帝釈天は仏教の守護神である天部の一つでインドラ(sakra)と同一の神です。安置の碑は柴又駅からの帝釈天参道の始まり付近に建っています。

Sakra is the ruler of the Heaven of the Thirty-Three according to Buddhist cosmology. He is the same god as Indra (sakra). The enshrinement monument is placed at near the beginning of the Sando (approach to the Taishakuten) from the Shibamata station.
