舟形地蔵・道標 | Jizo Buddha guidepost

東京都葛飾区東金町6丁目20-17 光増寺

元禄7年(1694)7月に建てられたもので、中央に地蔵の浮き彫り、左側に「そうか迄二里半」、右には「ミキいわつきしおんしミチ」とあります。以前はここより30m南の岩槻市慈恩寺道にあり、その道は慈恩寺へお参りに行く人々の道として賑わいました。

It was built in July Genroku 7th (1694). There is a relief of the Jizo Buddha in the center, on the left side "10km to Soka city" and on the right "Iwatsuki Jion-ji road". Previously it was placed in the road 30 meters from here, and the road is called Iwatsuki City Jion-ji (Jion temple) road. It was very crowded as a way to go Jion temple.
