日本神話では、七福神は幸運をもたらす神様と信じられています。上宿商店会はおよそ50年の歴史があります。亀有および葛飾地域のますますの発展を願い、上宿商店会は守り神様として商店会内の7つの拠点に七福神を安置し祀りました。
弁財天は、七福神の中の紅一点で、音楽・弁才・財福・知恵の神様です。
In Japanese mythology, the Seven Gods of Fortune (Shichifukujin in Japanese) are believed to grant good luck. Kamijuku shop association has 50 years history. For the further development of the Kamijuku, Kameari and Katsushika areas, the association has decided to enshrine the Seven Gods of Fortune bases within the shop area as a guardian god.
Benzaiten (Saraswati) is the only female god who is the god of music, Benzaiten, wealth, and wisdom.
