青戸高射砲陣地跡 | Vestiges of Aoto anti-aircraft cannon

高射砲とは、Anti-aircraft CannonまたはFLAKと呼ばれている、地上から航空機を攻撃するために作られた大砲です。青戸高射砲陣地跡は、太平洋戦争時にB-29爆撃機を撃墜するために設置された高射砲の跡で、台座の円形の跡が残っています。この付近に18基の高射砲が配置されていたようです。多くはその後の土地開発でなくなっていると思われますが、幾つかは今でも跡を残していました。

Anti-aircraft Cannon or FLAK is a cannon made to attack aircraft from the ground. The Aoto FLAK site was a trace of an aircraft gun set up at the time of the World War II to shoot down B-29 airplane bombers. There seems to be FLAK laid near here, many of them are missing because of land development, but we can still see some traces.
