宝篋印塔には天明7年(1787年)の造立銘がありますが、安政2年(1855)10月2日夜の安政江戸地震で損傷し、安政3年に修復されたことが追刻されています。この宝篋印塔は全体に造立時の姿がよく保たれており、最上部の瘡蓋や四隅の鈴鐸を下げた孔が残っています。
This Hokyointo Pagoda engraved the date of the construction Tenmei 7th (1787), but it was damaged by Ansei Edo earthquake in Ansei 2nd (1855), so it was restored in Ansei 3rd (1788). The appearance is kept well at the time of its establishment, such as the top scab and hole of bell at the four corners.
