The Koumon Bridge completed in 1909 is sluice gate for adjusting the amount of upstream and downstream water to prevent flooding which is the most advanced water gate at the time. It is the only one existing brick arch bridge in Tokyo. It's one of registered cultural asset in Katsushika city.
