熊野神社のクスノキ | Camphorwood at Kumano Jinja

【葛飾区登録天然記念物 | Katsushika City-registered natural monuments】

このクスノキは熊野神社の神木で、社殿の両側に一対になっています。高さはいずれも約25m、目通りの周囲は右の樹が約3.80m、左の樹が約3.74mあり、樹齢は300年前後と推定されます。

This pair camphorwoods (Cinnamomum camphora) are sacred tree of Kumano Jinja, which grow on both sides of the the main hall of a shrine. The both height is about 25m, and the circumference of the right tree is about 3.80m, and the circumference of the left tree is about 3.74m. The age of the tree is estimated to be around 300 years.
