葛飾区では、地域の人々が「自分たちのまちは、自分たちで守る」ことを目的に、消火・救助活動や被災者に対する生活支援を行う防災設備を備えた公園を防災活動拠点として整備を進めています。防災拠点となっている公園には防災倉庫が設置され、テーブル、椅子、テント、発電機、懐中電灯、給水タンク、消防ポンプ、担架、組み立てトイレなど、災害時の消火・救出や応急活動に必要な資器材が保管されています。

For the purpose of local people "protecting their own town by themselves", Katsushika City is developing a park that will serve as a base for disaster prevention activities which has disaster prevention equipment for fire extinguishing, rescuing activities and supporting livelihood for disaster victims. In the park, there is a emergency supplies storehouse which stores equipment and materials necessary for fire extinguishing / rescue and emergency activities in the disaster, such as tables, chairs, tents, generators, flashlights, water tanks, fire pumps, stretchers, assembled toilets, and so on.
