「こちら葛飾区亀有公園前派出所」は、葛飾区亀有を舞台にした大変有名な漫画です。1976年から2016年までの40年間、漫画週刊誌に一度の休載もなく連載され、単行本は全200巻、「コミックスの発行巻数が多い単一マンガシリーズ」として、ギネス世界記録に認定されています。両さんの故郷である亀有駅周辺には、両さんおよび登場人物の15体の銅像があります。

"Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Koen-mae Hashutujo" is a very famous manga which set in Kameari, Katsushika City. From 1976 to 2016, for 40 years, it was serialized in the manga weekly magazine without a break. 200 volumes in the book, it awarded Guinness World Record for the most volumes published for a single manga series. There are 15 statues of both Ryo-san and characters around Kameari Station.
